Jamie McLean Band Plays Ballard Park in Ridgefield

Critics describe the band as having "the rock & roll swagger of the Rolling Stones combined with the songwriting prowess of Ryan Adams."

RIDGEFIELD, CT -- Concert Happenings in Ridgefield Parks (CHIRP) is welcoming the Jamie McLean Band to Ballard Park on Tuesday, July 31 at 7 p.m.

This is their first CHIRP performance after opening several times at Ridgefield Playhouse for notables such as Greg Allman, Aaron Neville and Trombone Shorty. The band's music fuses New Orleans soul, Delta blues, middle America roots and New York City swagger.

In the event of rain, the concert will be held at the Ridgefield Playhouse.

CHIRP is a series of free Tuesday and Thursday night summer concerts in Ballard Park located in the heart of Ridgefield. It also sponsors the U.S. Military Band concerts held several times a year at the H.S. auditorium. CHIRP is totally funded by individual and foundation donations as well as contributions from local businesses.
