Letter To The Editor: '​Facts vs. Opinion'

Facts were skewed in GOP Opinion piece.

Facts should be separated from Opinion.

Fact - the Hartford Mayor’s wife created Desegregate CT ideals. She does NOT speak for all Democrats – she expressed an Opinion on zoning laws.

Fact - Zoning laws are not Party line issues. They affect everyone.

Fact - Towns already lost most control over 8-30g – there’s very little we in P&Z can do locally.

Fact - Aimee Berger-Girvalo will work with Ridgefield’s P&Z to coordinate viable alternatives and amendments to the sensitive issues of 8-30g and Desegregate CT ideals. She and Will Haskell will bring them to Hartford to negotiate. These changes can only happen at the state level.

Aimee “gets it” - approachable, easy to speak with – no pretenses. She listens to your every concern.

Finger-pointing doesn’t get it done - Aimee will.
