Library Gala Is Just Weeks Away
Great Expectations, the Ridgefield Library's gala fundraiser takes place on Sat., Apr. 28. It promises to be an elegant and lively evening.

The Great Expectations gala committee is wrapping up plans for the Ridgefield Library’s annual fundraiser, which will take place April 28 from 6-10 at the library, 427 Main St. The gala will honor the Couri family – Elaine and John, Megan and Chris – for their many contributions to the library and the entire Ridgefield community.
The evening will include a cocktail hour, an elegant sit-down dinner catered by Sarah Bouissou, and a live auction of select items – one-week at a resort on Cape Cod, catered dinner for 10 from Sarah Bouissou Catering and a river cruise on the Danube, to name a few. New this year after the dinner program is a piano bar in the Bossidy Commons on the main level. “Guests will have the opportunity to sing the night away in lively fashion,” according to Laureen Bubniak, director of development.
For reservations to the gala, contact Ms. Bubniak at LMBubniak@RidgefieldLibrary.org, by April 13. Tickets are $250, of which $130 is tax deductible.
