Los Texmaniacs to Perform at CHIRP in Ridgefield

RIDGEFIELD, CT — Concert Happenings in Ridgefield Parks (CHIRP) is welcoming Los Texmaniacs to Ballard Park on Tuesday, Aug. 28th at 7 p.m.

2010 Grammy Award winners, Los Texmaniacs incorporates elements from R&R and jazz with Tejano Music. Led by Max Baca their concerts burst with energy. Max has led 4 tours to Iraq, Afghanistan, and other war torn areas, appeared on Leno, Letterman, O’Brient and been featured in multiple PBS documentaries. Rain Venue: St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church.

CHIRP is a series of free Tuesday and Thursday night summer concerts in Ballard Park located in the heart of Ridgefield. It also sponsors the U.S. Military Band concerts held several times a year at the high school auditorium. CHIRP is totally funded by individual and foundation donations as well as contributions from local businesses.
