Make Music Day Ridgefield Continues to Add Performers & Venues

Ridgefield, CT — With less than two weeks until the first Make Music Day Ridgefield, venues are filling up with some wonderful events:

Dana Scofidio, of Blue Bus Music, will lead all interested ukulele players in song! With songbooks provided by Alfred Music Company and yours to keep-taking place at Ridgefield Library from 2 - 3pm.

Guitar players can join Jackson Pryor-Bennett in a play-along on stage at Ballard Park in the afternoon celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Woodstock. Just bring your guitar - songbooks will be provided thanks to Martin Guitar, Alfred Music and the NAMM Foundation.

Listen to the quiet sounds of Zildjian low noise cymbals with drummer Avery Collins. Anyone interested will get to try them out! - On the lawn at the Ridgefield Library from 4 - 5pm.

Throughout the day, beautifully painted pianos will be on the sidewalks in front of Rodier Flowers, Kafo, Blue Bus Music for your playing pleasure. Stop on by and play a song or two. - Special appearance by Jon Batiste, appearing that night at the Ridgefield Playhouse, at the Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance. A big thanks to Ridgefield Hardware for the donation for painting supplies.
