ANNOUNCING THE CAST OF ‘SEVEN COUSINS FOR A HORSE’
APRIL 24, 2023
Thrown Stone is delighted to announce the cast of the world premiere of Seven Cousins for a Horse by Tammy Ryan. We are particularly excited that this will be a homecoming for six, and a Thrown Stone début for one. Please join us in welcoming back Shannon Helene Barnes (Athena, Hysterical!), Emma Factor (The Arsonists), Will Jeffries (The Suburbs), Aidan Meachem (Milk), Jason Peck (Where All Good Rabbits Go), and Bridget Ann White (The Suburbs). We are also pleased to introduce you to Emmanuelle Nadeau, who will play Sarah Kinney.
In Seven Cousins, playwright Tammy Ryan explores love, loss, and redemption against the backdrop of a changing America in 1848. As the traveling portrait artist, Ammi Phillips captures the likenesses of his seven cousins, he grapples with personal tragedy, his fading career, and the uncertainty of the future. But, just like America, his relatives’ unruly household is a hotbed of debate on abolition, universal suffrage, and a mysterious illness that stalks the countryside. As Ammi captures their likenesses, can he offer them a moment of immortality? Can he paint a new path for himself?
We look forward to sharing this new theatrical experience with you in Ridgefield. Watch this space for more creative team announcements in the next couple of weeks. Tickets go on sale May 8th.
