milliCare’s ‘CHAIRity Month of Care’ Raised Funds For Habitat
In support of Housatonic Habitat's Mission

During its ‘CHAIRity Month of Care,’ milliCare in Ridgefield donated $1 to Housatonic Habitat for Humanity for every chair the firm cleaned in one month; the result was a donation of more than $1200. MilliCare provides environmentally-friendly commercial floor and textile care, including cleaning and maintenance of office furniture.
“Habitat for Humanity partners with people in your community, and all over the world, to help them build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage - allowing them to achieve the strength, stability, and independence they need to build a better life for themselves and their families,” said Laurena Powers, Floor Care Consultant at milliCare.
Housatonic Habitat for Humanity focuses on making a meaningful difference in the lives of qualified working families by promoting financial stability and self-sufficiency through ownership of affordable homes. Households often consist of those who have limited assets and who have jobs that also have income caps.
