Mind Your Meters: Ridgefield Shortens Some Parking Times

The change was prompted by a request from the ownership of the Donnelly shopping center, where the spaces are located.

RIDGEFIELD, CT -- The permissible parking time for 22 spaces on the eastern edge of the village commercial district was cut down from three- to two-hours, The Ridgefield Press has reported.

The change was prompted by a request from the ownership of the Donnelly shopping center, where the spaces are located.

A second parking lot, on the town land behind the Casey Energy depot off Bailey Avenue, was approved by voters, but it is not expected until next spring or summer.
