CT Weather: Mini Run of Spring Weather Ends Soon

Connecticut has been enjoying some nice weather the past couple of days but we're in for some changes soon.

Some really good news in this week's weather forecast. First, not even a hint of the snow word. And secondly, the nice mini-run of spring weather continues until Tuesday evening, and after that, well it's bad, as sunny skies are replaced with lots of clouds and rain chances over the rest of the week.

But as several folks have mentioned repeatedly on weather stories over the year, we always need rain, so that is a good thing.

The National Weather Service says, "Tranquil, Spring weather will continue through Monday as high pressure remains in control. Another chilly night in store with temperatures dropping down into the upper 20s and 30s for the outlying areas, and into the mid to upper 40s around the NYC metro area under a clear sky.

"High pressure will slowly drift off to the east during the day on Monday as a low pressure system approaches the area. It will be a mostly sunny day with temperatures reaching the low to mid 60s. Unsettled weather returns late Tuesday into Wednesday with temperatures generally a few degrees below normal."
