Multiple Break-ins Reported in Ridgefield

A series of burglaries have plagued Ridgefield recently and police are investigating.

Authorities said the break-ins, which included an armed robbery, have occurred in a neighborhood near Route 116, according to an article in the Danbury News Times.

The crimes happened between Oct. 29 and Nov. 5.

Police said the most serious incident was at a Mamanasco Road home where a man with a knife forced his way into the dwelling and took cash from the homeowner, the News Times said.
