Music, Stories, Lights & Santa to Usher in Ridgefield Holidays
The holidays will officially begin in Ridgefield on the day after Thanksgiving. Here's where to find them....
RIDGEFIELD, CT — Santa Claus and his wife of many years are scheduled to make their first appearances in Ridgefield on Friday, Nov. 29, as part of the town's Annual Tree Lighting event.
The switch for the tree lighting will be thrown at Town Hall at 6 p.m.
Santa and the missus will arrive by way of fire truck between 6-6:30 p.m., after which they will take up residency at Lounsbury House. The original power couple will be accepting callers beginning at 6:30 p.m., with seasonal music performed on the piano courtesy of Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra and stories presented by members of the Thrown Stone Theatre Company.
