New Kids Singing Workshops at Theater Barn

Don't miss this educational, enriching, and FUN opportunity for your talented kids!

The Theater Barn is very happy to announce two new opportunities for kids to nurture their singing talents: for beginners Learn to Sing, and for those with more experience, Miss Anya’s Glee Club. Both classes, Learn to Sing (for 3rd & 4th graders), and Miss Anya’s Glee Club (for 5th to 8th graders) are taught by Anya Caravella, an accomplished singer, Theater Barn vocal instructor, and TBK Assistant Music Director.

If your child loves to sing but lacks confidence, then Learn to Sing may be for them. Singing does not come naturally for everyone. However, with practice and guidance, great strides can be made! Learn To Sing teaches young singers the fundamentals of correct singing through games, ear training exercises and singing songs. Learn To Sing begins May 10th and will conclude its session with a performance on June 16th.

Miss Anya’s Glee Club is a 7-week program beginning May 12th that takes the fundamentals and raises them to the next level. Students gain more singing confidence through performing for their peers in a supportive, loving environment. They better develop their musical ear through harmonizing, and as always – they have lots of fun. The workshop will conclude with a performance tentatively scheduled for June 23rd.

The classes will be held at the Ridgefield Theater Barn, 37 Halpin Lane. More information, pricing, and registration information is available on the Theater Barn website, www.ridgefieldtheaterbarn.org
