New Music, Dance and Theater Summer Programs at Ridgefield's Enchanted Garden

RIDGEFIELD, CT — Enchanted Garden is now accepting registrations for its summer camps in music, dance, and musical theater for children and teens. New offerings this summer include Gymnastics (parent/child and ages 3-5), “Mary Poppins Proper Picnic Camp” (dance for gr. 2-4), Musical Theater camps for children ages 4-11 --“Heart of an Island Princess (Moana),” “The Legend of Krampus (Christmas in July)”, Heroes, Sheroes and Villains -- and “Broadway for Beginners” (ages 3-6).

The Enchanted Garden’s early childhood programs range from “Judy’s Music Summer” (babies, toddlers, twos with parent/caregiver– older siblings welcome), “Twos & Threes Preschool Prep Camp” (drop off), and “Enchanted Camp” (ages 3-6, user-friendly scheduling, includes music, art, science, cooking, indoor/outdoor activities) to “Budding Ballerinas” (ages 2.5-3), “Enchanted Garden Dance Camp” (ages 4-5), “Cinderella’s Tea Party Dance Camp” (gr. K-3), and “Nuts About the Nutcracker” (gr. K-12).

“Summer Music Immersion” (gr. 6-8) is back after its successful launch last season. Young musicians rehearse, perform, and record jazz, classical, rock and pop guided by highly qualified faculty. Includes ensemble work, songwriting, studio production and individual coaching. Option to extend the day at Camp Playland of Redding.

“Studio Vocal Workshop” (gr. 5-8), an intensive program for any level of singer from beginner to advanced, is held in the Enchanted Garden’s professional recording studio. Students sing individually and as a group both with a PA system and in a recording environment. Every student receives a recording and the end of the program.

Individual instrument and voice lessons are available all summer. Flexible schedule young musicians to sign up for only the dates you want.

Hip Hop and Breakdance classes are back this summer (gr. K-5), and Ballet Pointe Workshop (gr. 6-8) for dancers who want to improve or learn new skills and have fun too.

Family owned and operated, the Enchanted Garden has been providing quality arts education and award-winning birthday parties in Ridgefield since 1989.
