No Self-Storage in Branchville: Ridgefield Zoning Commission
The Planning & Zoning Commission rejected a developer's plan to build self-storage units along Route 7's business zone in Branchville.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — The Planning and Zoning Commission has decided that self-storage facilities will not be permitted along Route 7’s business zone in Branchville, the Ridgefield Press is reporting.
The determination was made in the wake of a pre-submission concept meeting for a multi-unit self storage facility at 71 Ethan Allen Highway on Dec. 18.
The property is currently leased by Durant Party Rental. The commission heard from a representative of a developer interested in building a three or four story self-storage facility in the space.
