No Tolls CT Plans Protest in Ridgefield
The group has close to 100,000 names on a petition demanding politicos strike down any new tolls legislation
RIDGEFIELD, CT — As of April 23, No Tolls CT has 96,259 names on a petition demanding the Governor Ned Lamont veto and the Connecticut General Assembly vote "no" on any, and all proposed legislation to implement tolls in Connecticut.
The group will be in Ridgefield on Saturday in the hopes of pushing that number past 100,000.
The protesters will be holding a rally in town at the corner of Copps Hill Road and Danbury Road from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 27. More participants are welcome, and are being encouraged to bring a "No Tolls CT" sign.
