Nutmeg & Neighbors on September 28, from 5 to 8, at St. Stephen’s Church in Ridgefield will feature a silent auction with a huge array of items and a highly select live auction. Bidders on the silent auction can choose from categories that include entertainment, dining out, jewelry, sports and leisure, beauty, apparel, and even pets. Live auction items include one week at a Hilton Grand Vacations property, gift certificate from Arborscape for landscape and tree services, use of the Keeler Tavern Museum Cass Gilbert Carriage Barn event space, upscale model sailing yacht with radio controls, two $250 Ridgefield Hardware gift certificates and a $300 gift certificate from Ridgefield Running Company that includes a personalized fit.
The program will include family line dancing, square dancing with a professional caller and children’s activities. Marshall O’Deen of O’Deen’s BBQ has come up with a seasonal menu, headlined by a pig roast, that includes roasted butternut squash salad and other vegan and vegetarian options.
