Obituary: Helen G. Bellagamba, 86, of Ridgefield

RIDGEFIELD, CT -- Helen G. Bellagamba, 86, of Brookfield, formerly of Ridgefield, passed away on Monday, August 13, 2018. She was the loving wife of the late James Bellagamba. Mrs. Bellagamba was born in the Bronx, NY on June 2, 1932; a daughter of the late Peter and Martha (Schlieker) Grommes.

A longtime Ridgefield resident, Mrs. Bellagamba was a skilled painter and she enjoyed making crafts for family and friends. Mrs. Bellagamba worked at the optometry office of Dr. Philip Martin in Ridgefield for over 35 years.

She is survived by her three children: Peter Bellagamba and his wife, Carrie; Jeff Bellagamba and his wife, Laurie and Robin Houser and her husband, Richard. Mrs. Bellagamba is also survived by five grandchildren: Dena, AJ, Michael, Matthew and Kevin.

At Helen's request, funeral services will be private.
