Obituary: Kevin Paul Fitzpatrick, 72, Of Ridgefield
Kevin completed his professional career as a financial adviser, and was an avid follower of financial news and stocks.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — Kevin Paul Fitzpatrick of Ridgefield, passed peacefully surrounded by family in Lake Worth, FL on Friday, Dec. 2, 2022. A loving son, nephew, husband, father, and “Grandpa Fitz,” Kevin is pre-deceased by his parents Vincent and Agnes (Farkus) Fitzpatrick, Uncle John and Aunt Mary (Farkus) Miller, and is survived by his adoring wife, Pamela (Carboni) Fitzpatrick, son and his wife, Kevin Vincent and Jessica Fitzpatrick, daughter Caitlin Fitzpatrick, and granddaughter Eleanor Grace Fitzpatrick.
Kevin was born on July 31, 1950, in North Haven, and later graduated cum laude from Boston College in Boston, MA. As a young professional, he spent many years as a sales manager for General Foods Maxwell House Coffee Division, worked as a stockbroker, and after having graduated with a Masters from Sacred Heart University in Bridgeport, completed his professional career as a financial adviser.
Kevin and his beloved wife, Pam, met in Boston, MA and were married at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ridgefield on Oct. 2, 1976. Amongst his many hobbies, Kevin was an avid follower of financial news and stocks, played golf, and enjoyed watching sports, especially college basketball, football, horse racing, and his favorite baseball team, the Boston Red Sox. In charity, Kevin was recognized by the United Way for his commitment and service as a hospice volunteer. He also experienced great joy traveling, including a recent trip with his family to Ireland, as well as spending summer weekends in Saratoga Springs, and of course, quality time with close family and friends in Florida. Above all, Kevin’s greatest passions were his deep faith in God and great love for his family, including his very special relationship with his granddaughter, Eleanor.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2022, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 55 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ridgefield.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Kevin’s name to Catholic Charities care of St. Mary’s Catholic Church or Regional Hospice of Danbury.
