Obituary: Theresa Bach, 91, Of Ridgefield

RIDGEFIELD, CT — Theresa Bach, age 91, of Ridgefield died peacefully at home on June 12, 2023. She was surrounded by her loving family in her final days.
Theresa was born on September 15, 1931, in the Bronx, NY to the late Domenick and Frances (Ruocco) Abate. She was married to the late Al Bach on October 14, 1956. They raised their four children, who were her proudest accomplishment, in Mount Vernon, NY. She moved to Ridgefield in 2006 and joined Founders Hall, where she made several very dear friends.
Theresa loved to cook and always enjoyed gatherings with family and friends. She enjoyed traveling, counted cross-stitch and was an avid reader.
She is survived by her four devoted children: Al Bach (Stonington, CT), Deborah Casucci and her husband Andrew (Clifton Park, NY), Dwight Bach (Hawthorne, NY), and Theresa Miller and her husband Dean (Ridgefield, CT). Theresa is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren (with one more on the way). She was predeceased by Lisa Hilliard, her daughter-in-law.
A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
