Obituary: Trieste Severini, 96, Longtime Ridgefield Resident
Mrs. Severini was a retired Bank Executive of Union Trust Bank in Ridgefield, and a communicant at St. Mary's Church.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — Trieste Severini, 96, longtime resident of Ridgefield, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022. She was the loving wife of the late Reno Severini. Mrs. Severini was born in Ridgefield on Nov. 15, 1925, the daughter of the late Gottardo and Rosa (Vergoni) Carboni. She was a graduate of Ridgefield High School and married Reno in May of 1949.
Mrs. Severini was a retired Bank Executive of Union Trust Bank, Ridgefield. She was a member of St. Mary's Church. She loved to bake and was known for her many delicious Italian desserts. She was most proud of the home that she and Reno built and lived in since 1959.
Lovingly known by her family and friends as "Te Te" she is survived by her many nieces, nephews, their spouses and their children. She was predeceased by her parents, husband and siblings, Elda (Carboni) Nappi, Fausto Carboni and Deno Carboni. The family would like to give thanks to Matilda Damptey who looked after Aunt Te for several years with loving care. They became the closest of friends during that time.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 55 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, 110 North Street, Ridgefield. There will be no calling hours.
