Online Bidding Starts Aug. 1 for Nutmeg Silent Auction

Beginning Aug. 1, bidders can go to NutmegFestival.org to bid on a huge range of items in this year's Nutmeg Festival Silent Auction

This year’s St. Stephen’s Church Nutmeg Festival, to be held August 11, is the first to offer Silent Auction bids online. Beginning August 1, bidders can go to NutmegFestival.org to bid on a huge range of items, including gift certificates from Ridgefield’s finest restaurants and a host of other local businesses. One of the top items, valued at $600, is a round of golf, plus lunch and carts, at Silver Springs Country Club. All Silent Auction proceeds will be distributed among multiple local charities.

The Silent Auction is just one of the reasons the Nutmeg Festival has become one of Ridgefield’s most-anticipated summer events. From opening to closing – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. – it offers attractions for all ages. Features include food, magician Ben Nemzer, live music, games for teens and children, antiques, a White Elephant sale, raffle, children’s toys, books, furniture, jewelry, arts and other collectibles. There is no charge for admission.
