Pedestrian Hospitalized After Being Hit By Motorist In Ridgefield
Police are reporting a pedestrian was injured after being struck by a vehicle on South Salem Road in Ridgefield on Tuesday.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — Police are reporting a pedestrian was injured after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday.
The accident occurred on South Salem Road at 6:45 p.m.
The man was hit by the vehicle as he was attempting to move a fallen tree from the roadway, according to Ridgefield Police Captain Jeff Raines.
The pedestrian was taken to Danbury Hospital for further observation, according to the police report.
