Police, Retired Teachers, Endorse Hebert In 111th House District Race
The CT State Police Union and the Association of Retired Teachers of CT are both endorsing Bob Hebert in the 111th State House race.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — The Connecticut State Police Union and the Association of Retired Teachers of Connecticut are both endorsing Republican Bob Hebert in his race for the 111th General Assembly District.
In a letter to Hebert, Todd Fedigan, president of the Connecticut State Police Union, wrote,"This endorsement comes as a result of your support for public safety and the issues our Union has faced in the past. Your commitment to public safety and Trooper safety is truly appreciated by the entire Union membership."
Hebert said he was "honored" to receive the group's endorsement, adding that the "men and women of law enforcement put their lives on the line for us every day to serve and protect our community. I will continue to support our police and look forward to working with them to ensure the safety of our town and our residents."
In response to the endorsement from the ARTC, which represents 32,000 retired teachers, Hebert said, "Our children deserve the best education possible. This starts with supporting our parents and supporting our teachers, past, present and future. Our teachers have dedicated their entire careers to caring for our children and have endured a great deal, especially during the pandemic. I am grateful for all their dedication and hard work."
The 111th House District covers Ridgefield. Hebert is challenging Democratic incumbent Aimee Berger-Girvalo in the Nov. 8 election.
