SAM SHEPARD CLASSIC, TRUE WEST, OPENS AT THEATER BARN

The Ridgefield Theater Barn is proud to present True West, the critically-acclaimed play by Sam Shepard, starting June 1st. The production, directed by Erik Tonner, will be presented Friday and Saturday evenings from June 1st through June 23rd at 8pm, with Sunday matinees June 10th & 17th at 5pm, and features Anthony Barresi, Dan Forman, Chris Luongo, and Stephanie Schwartz.

One of the most respected contemporary American playwrights, in True West Sam Shepard explores the emotions that reside in each of us—anger, frustration, loyalty and love—that come with being part of a family. At times funny and touching, the play revels in the dark side of the sibling rivalry between two brothers and explores the capacity for our human nature to go horribly wrong.

Tickets are $35 for adults, and $28 for seniors, students, and veterans. Seating is cabaret style and audience members are invited to bring food and drink to enjoy before the show and at intermission. Doors open one hour prior to curtain. For reservations visit the website, www.ridgefieldtheaterbarn.org, or call (203) 431-9850.

If you want to get the best available seats, and also get a $4 discount per ticket to True West, then be sure to make your reservations by this Friday, May 25th, at 7pm.
