RidgeCon, Ridgefield's Pop Culture Happening, Returns

RIDGEFIELD, CT -- The library has announced that RidgeCon will be returning in August for its fourth year.

The popular pop culture celebration will run Friday and Saturday, August 17-18 with hands-on workshops, special programs and other activities for families and individuals of all ages. Friday night promises a "RidgeCon After Dark" program for ages 21 and up. Other events include a Pokémon tournament, cosplay contest, scavenger hunts, photo opportunities and a superhero boot camp.

This year RidgeCon has partnered with game store Gamer's Gambit and Ridgefield cosplay veteran Harley Nox.

"I pretty much expect as much fun as the past few years," Nox told The Patch. "They've had wonderful programs, and it really brings out the best for all the families in Ridgefield!"
