Ridgefield Animal Rescue Group Honors Volunteers
Ridgefield Operation for Animal Rescue held its annual gala
RIDGEFIELD, CT — Ridgefield Operation for Animal Rescue (ROAR) honored local volunteers, businesses and animal lovers at its annual gala last week.
The event helped raise funds for ROAR to support the continued rescue, care and adoption of cats and dogs by the ROAR Donofrio Family Animal Shelter.
ROAR honored Ridgefield resident Scott Linke with its 2019 ROAR Community Star Award for his outstanding contributions and support.
Ancona’s Wines and Liquors was honored with the 2019 ROAR Business Star Award for their outstanding contributions and support.
The gala was also an opportunity for ROAR to celebrate with the community recent successes they have had finding "forever homes" for dogs and cats they have rescued.
The gala was held on March 9 at Le Chateau in South Salem, New York.
