Ridgefield Bed And Breakfast Saga Continues Wednesday
A proposed bed and breakfast on Circle Drive has sparked an online petition in opposition of the application.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — The controversial Circle Drive bed and breakfast proposal will get a second public hearing Wednesday in front of the Planning and Zoning commission. The first public hearing on the "Front Porch Farm" proposal was highly-attended, with many residents voicing concerns of the proposal.
The hearing will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the Town Hall Annex's lower level meeting room. The proposal was submitted by Thomas and Catherine Savoca.
Opponents of the proposal say that commercial businesses do not belong in residential zones, and that the proposal will reduce safety and home values. An online petition has been started opposing the project.
