Ridgefield Board Of Finance Sends $168M Budget Plan To Voters
The proposed 2024-24 Ridgefield budget would translate into a mill rate/tax increase of 2.09 percent.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — The Board of Finance held their final budget deliberations Tuesday and approved a $168 million operating budget plan for fiscal year 2024-25.
The proposed budget includes $115 million for education (a 3.97 percent increase), $45.9 million for municipal operations (the 2.77 percent increase includes infrastructure) and $7.29 million for debt service (9.01 percent increase).
The Board of Finance also approved a $6.9 million capital improvement budget, which anticipates $1.47 million in grants.
The proposed budget would translate into a mill rate/tax increase of 2.09 percent.
