Ridgefield to Consider Construction of an Amphitheater
$25,000 has been ear-marked for a site plan and traffic study

RIDGEFIELD, CT —Preliminary designs for an Amphitheater on the former Schlumberger property in Ridgefield are on their way to the drawing board.
The Schlumberger Citizens Committee has notified the Board of Selectmen that the $25,000 approved for a traffic study and site plan of the town-owned 30 acres will help determine if the site is viable for an amphitheater. Once completed, the committee will present the designs to the Planning and Zoning Commission who will decide whether to proceed with the project. If the project is approved, it would be privately funded.
The Schlumberger Citizens Committee's final report is available here.
