Ridgefield Director Receives Accolades for "Admissions"

Critics call playwright Josh Harmon's Admissions a "scathing comedy." It's about the insanity that often accompanies the college admissions process. The New York Times calls Admissions "an extraordinarily useful and excruciating satire ."

The play came from Lincoln Center to St. Luke's School (SLS) by way of SLS Theater Director Jason Peck who is also founder of Thrown Stone theater. "Good theater should challenge the status quo, ask questions, generate thought, highlight contradictions, and inspire change. Admissions did all that and more...Plays and musicals that premiere in NYC usually have years of touring...On a whim, I reached out to Mr. Harmon's agent and here we are..."

This weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) St. Luke's will be the first high school in the country to perform the Drama Desk Award Winning play. Admission is free & open to the public (adult language - age 14+ recommended). Seats are limited so please reserve your spot.
