The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:
Education: Keeping education open so that students can learn all perspectives.
Education about each other, learning from each other, and being open to views points not the same as your own.
Education about the importance of wetlands, rivers, ponds, and streams to our environment and town.
Critical differences between me and my opponents:
I think both parties want the Common Good for our town. That is to say, preserve our town now and for the future. This means working together to set priorities, and establish goals and put aside personal interests and do what is best for everyone.
Accomplishments:
I was in education for twenty-two years and learned how to work with a team and on a team to accomplish long-term and short-term goals. I know how to collaborate, compromise. As a forty-year resident, and I relish the opportunity to serve our community.
What else would you like voters to know about you?
I'd like voters to know that I love this town. I have witnessed it grow over the last forty years, to what it is today, a vibrant, welcoming community. People are attracted to our community because we have a balance between our natural surroundings, economics, arts, and education. What an incredible thing to be able to say about the place you live!
