Ridgefield High School Unified Sports Program Gets Funding Boost: Report
The program aims to teach athletes with or without special needs inclusivity during sports participation.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — The Ridgefield High School's new Unified Sports Program has received a boost in funding from the Ridgefield Education Foundation, reports the Ridgefield Press.
The Special Olympics program is designed to teach athletes with or without special needs inclusivity during sports participation. The REF has donated $10,000 to help fund the new program.
The district has begun interviews to hire unified sports coaches.
