Ridgefield Hires Social Media Consultant
She is being charged with getting Ridgefield's message out across Facebook and Twitter.
RIDGEFIELD, CT —Ridgefield has contracted with a consultant to write and manage the town's social media, The Ridgefield Press has reported.
Emily Pambianchi of Social Graces Communications is being charged with getting Ridgefield's message out across Facebook and Twitter, and monitoring these platforms to ensure misinformation is corrected.
Pambianchi will be paid $800 a month, for which she has promised:
- Daily, engaging posts to Facebook and Twitter (graphics, photos, videos);
- Weekly meeting/phone call to review goals, objectives and content;
- Monthly analytics; and
- “Social listening,” or reporting to the selectmen on other local groups, if there are issues being discussed in a negative light or questions.
According to her LinkedIn page, Pambianchi is a 2006 graduate of St. Joseph's University and received her M.A. in creative writing there in 2007. She has been on the board of the Ridgefield Prevention Council since November 2017.

The social media consultant will be paid from the town’s $61,000 contingency fund.
