Ridgefield Holds Onto Top Spot in Ice Hockey Rankings

The Tigers have won 10 of their first 11 games this season.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — For the fifth straight week, Ridgefield High School topped the rankings in the Connecticut boys ice hockey poll of media and coaches.

The Tigers (10-1) received 13 of 16 first-place votes.

  3. Xavier (9-3)
  4. Northwest Catholic (12-1-1)
  5. Notre Dame-West Haven (7-5)

  7. Fairfield Prep (6-5)
  8. East Haven (10-1)
  9. Simsbury (6-5)
  10. Suffield/Granby/Windsor Locks (9-3)

Also receiving votes: West Haven (8-4), Farmington Valley (8-2), Woodstock Academy (11-0), Fairfield Warde/Ludlowe (9-3), Notre Dame-Fairfield (3-8-1).
