RIDGEFIELD, CT -- With their 3-2 win Saturday over Wilton, the Ridgefield Post 86 American Legion senior (19U) baseball team improved their record to 5-8. They are seventh in the league.
The victory was a little vindication for their 3-game-streak-busting loss to Wilton on Wednesday, earlier in the week. Wilton is currently second in the league standings.
The team has the holiday week off from league play. They will play Norwalk in a double-header at Old High School on Saturday, July 7. The first pitch is at 10:00 a.m.
