Ridgefield To Live Stream Budget Meeting, Coronavirus Updates
Ridgefield's Board of Selectmen will be streaming their budget meeting live Wednesday night.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — The Board of Selectmen will live stream their meeting on the budget Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
It will be open to the public on the Town website and on Comcast Channel 24.
"We will try to take questions and we may also have a Zoom connection available," First Selectman Rudy Marconi, referring to the web video conferencing software that is enjoying a surge in popularity.
On Tuesday, Town Health Director Ed Briggs confirmed there are 84 active cases of the new coronavirus in Ridgefield, with ages ranging from 2-101. The current town total death toll remains at seven.
Ridgefield's Emergency Operations Team continues to stream live updates on how the virus is impacting Ridgefield, and how the Town is responding, via the same stream sources. Questions can be sent to selectman@ridgefieldct.org.
