Ridgefield Looks For Efficiencies In Budget

Town officials are looking for greater efficiencies in the budget.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — Town officials are looking to increase efficiency in the coming budget in order to control costs. There are requests for six new full-time workers in the budget.

In total the town and school system has reduced positions by one over the past ten years, according to the Ridgefield Press.

Town spending requests were brought down to a 2.37 percent increase while the school superintendent's budget asks for a 4.83 percent increase.
