Ridgefield Music: Metropolitan String Orchestra​ in Free Concert

The Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra and Lounsbury House are presenting a special free Listening Live! Community Concert Sunday, May 20 at 3:00 p.m. at 316 Main Street, Ridgefield.

The concert features the Metropolitan String Orchestra (MSO), a professional ensemble-training program for auditioned, classically-trained pre-college musicians ages 8-18. MSO brings together dedicated, high achieving students from Connecticut, Manhattan, Long Island and New Jersey for performances at prestigious venues including the United Nations, historic St. Peter's Church in Manhattan and Fairfield University. MSO members also perform at schools, non-profit events, and places of worship experiencing how music truly builds community.

Admission is free. Light refreshments will be served after the concert.
