Ridgefield P&Z Approves Affordable Housing
The affordable housing was approved under a local incentive program.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — The Planning and Zoning Commission approved the first application under its program that offers incentives to affordable housing developers who stay within Ridgefield's zoning laws.
The program was designed so that developers don't use the 8-30g housing statute to get around local zoning authorities, according to the News-Times.
The approved building at the former Schlumberger property will have a total of 16 units, five of which will be affordable.
