Ridgefield Parks and Rec Announces Family Events

Free Family Fencing Night
Ridgefield Parks & Recreation is hosting a free Family Fencing Night on Monday, May 2 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Recreation Center. This event is recommended for adults and children ages 6 and older. You will get to spend time with your family and discover the many benefits of fencing including exercise, strategic thinking, flexibility, stress relief, and more. Kids Festival
Bring your whole family the Kids Festival on Saturday, May 7 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at Ballard Park. There will be free face painting, crafts, and carnival games. There will also be a Fun Zone featuring a bungee jump, rock climbing wall, obstacle course, bounce house, and more! Wristbands or tickets are required for the Fun Zone. You may purchase a $10 unlimited wristband or pay $1 per activity. The Fun Zone is provided by Ridgefield Parks & Recreation with proceeds benefiting the Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce. The rain date for the event is on Sunday, May 8 at the Recreation Center.
