Ridgefield PD Graduates New Class from Citizen Police Academy

RIDGEFIELD, CT -- The Ridgefield police department has graduated their latest class of cadets from the Citizen Police Academy.

The CPA program is aimed at connecting the community and the police. Over the course of the nin-week program, participants learn about various aspects of police work, including crime scene investigation, firearms, TASER, speed enforcement, DUI enforcement, search and seizure, department history, laws of arrest and more.

The CPA is one of the Department's more popular programs. The next class is scheduled for the spring of 2019.
