Ridgefield Police Charge Bridgeport Man After Ethan Allen Highway Motorcycle Crash
Ridgefield police charged a Bridgeport man after a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle on Ethan Allen Highway.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — Ridgefield police charged a Bridgeport man after a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle on Ethan Allen Highway, according to a police news release.
Police said officers were dispatched at about 6:21 p.m. Aug. 30 for a report of a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle.
The motorist involved in the crash was evaluated for minor injuries, police said.
Police said the motorcyclist, 29, of Bridgeport, was driving with a fraudulent license plate.
The motorcyclist was issued a misdemeanor summons charging him with using a fraudulent number plate, operating a motor vehicle without a license, operating a motor vehicle without insurance and traveling too fast for conditions, according to police.
Police said the Bridgeport man was released on a promise to appear and is scheduled to appear Sept. 11 in Danbury Superior Court.
The release listed moderate damage to the side and rear of the motorcycle.
