Ridgefield Police Find Missing Teen
The 16-year-old went missing from the Ledges Road/Aspen Mill area in Ridgefield Wednesday evening.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — Police are reporting they have found a 16-year-old who had gone missing Wednesday evening.
The teen was first reported missing from the Ledges Road/Aspen Mill area around 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
The Ridgefield Police Department enlisted the aid of the Ridgefield Fire Department, the State Police K9 Unit, and a drone from the Danbury Fire Department in their search.
The missing teen was found at 10:30 p.m. uninjured, according to the report, and transported to the Danbury Hospital for evaluation.
"We thank those resources involved for their assistance," Capt. Shawn Platt said in a news release.
