Ridgefield Products Named Among Top New England Soccer Players of All Time

The New England Soccer Journal profiled the top 50 New England players in its latest edition.

In its most recent edition, the New England Soccer Journal selected the top 50 players of all time from New England, and not surprisingly, World Cup and Olympic champion Kristine Lilly of Wilton topped the list.

Curt Onalfo, a Brazil native who starred at Ridgefield High School, was ranked No. 19. He played at the University of Virginia for four years, then played professionally from 1991 to 1999.

Kevin Wylie, a high school teammate of Onalfo who went on to the University of Vermont and then also played professionally, made the honorable mention list.
