Ridgefield Public Hearing And Special Town Meeting Set For Feb. 21
Attendees at the meeting will vote on proposed changes to the agreement between the Ridgefield Library and the Town of Ridgefield.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — A Public Hearing and Special Town Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2024 at 7:30 p.m. in the Town Hall Large Conference Room to review and vote on proposed changes to the agreement between the Ridgefield Library and the Town of Ridgefield.
The agreement was first signed in 1983, updated in 2012 and is now being revised once again in order to reflect current operations, according to a news release from the Town of Ridgefield. Because the terms are undergoing some substantial changes, the proposed agreement must be approved by the people at a Town Meeting.
The official notice and revised agreement can be found here.
All are encouraged to attend the Public Hearing and Special Town Meeting. Both will be streamed live on the Town website, however only residents who appear in person will be able to vote.
