Ridgefield Ramble Kicks Off Tuesday Afternoon
The NRVT project aims to build 33 miles of trail connecting Norwalk and Danbury and passing through Wilton, Ridgefield, and Redding.

RIDGEFIELD, CT --- Plans to expand the Norwalk River Valley Trail through Ridgefield and Redding will be the topic of a forum to be held at the Ridgefield Library on Tuesday, April 24 in the Main Program Room.
The NRVT project aims to build 33 miles of trail connecting Calf Pasture Beach in Norwalk to Rogers Park in Danbury, passing through Wilton, Ridgefield, and Redding along the way. The trail is intended to be ADA compliant, and accessible, and appropriate for walkers, runners, bikers and wheel chairs.
NVRT Executive director, Charlie Taney, will explain the project, and trail builder Josh Ryan, of Timber & Stone in Montpelier, VT, will be present to share the design of the "Ridgefield Ramble" and "Redding Mile" sections of the trail.
