Ridgefield Rays Headed for Europe

RIDGEFIELD, CT --The Ridgefield Rays 14U Babe Ruth baseball team will be visiting France and the Netherlands next month for two international tournaments, The Ridgefield Press has reported.

First Selectman Rudy Marconi has given the key to the town of Ridgefield to the Rays, and the team plans to present the key to its host city of La Guerche-de-Bretagne, France.

But before that happens, they will need to raise the funds to get there. The team is accepting donations to pay for their European adventure at their website.
