Ridgefield Rays On Their Way to The Netherlands
The team boards the bus for Amsterdam on Friday.

RIDGEFIELD, CT -- The Ridgefield Rays 14U Babe Ruth baseball team is preparing to leave France following last weekend's tournament, with their sights now set on The Netherlands.
Earlier this week the team held an intra-squad scrimmage with the La Guerche Hawks at the conclusion of a long practice (see below). Rays' coaches helped Hawks' coaches with practice techniques and skills drills used in the US.

It's not been all work for the Rays in Europe, however. The team also had the chance to take in several sights including the victory celebration for France winning the World Cup. They also took a powerful and inspirational day trip to Omaha Beach in Normandy.
