Ridgefield To Receive $65k Settlement For Tree Cutting

Trees were cut on open space land in order to improve views for a property owner.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — The town will receive $65,000 after legal fees related to a settlement after a property owner cut down trees in town-owned open space in order to improve his views.

The money will go to the town's Conservation Commission, according to the Ridgefield Press.

The trees were cut off of Mamanasco Road.
