Ridgefield Resident Arrested In New York Labor Day DWI Crackdown

New York State Police announced they took five impaired Connecticut residents off Hudson Valley roads over the Labor Day holiday weekend.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — New York State Police arrested 31 drivers in the Hudson Valley during their Labor Day weekend crackdown and charged them with driving while impaired. One, a Ridgefield, Connecticut resident, faces a felony charge connected to a previous conviction for driving while intoxicated.

On Sept. 1, New York State Police arrested Vincent A. Nagle, 48, of Ridgefield, CT, for DWI with a prior conviction within ten years, a class E felony. He was traveling on Interstate 84 in the town of Southeast when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, police alleged.

  • On Sept. 1, NY State Police arrested Richard C. Pavain, 36, of Seymour, CT, for DWI with a prior conviction within ten years, and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 1st degree, both class E felonies. He was traveling on Interstate 684 in the town of Southeast, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, police alleged.
  • On Sept. 2, NY state troopers arrested Felix Lemus Perez, 28, of Danbury, CT, for DWI. He was traveling on Danbury Road in the town of Southeast, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, police alleged.
  • On Sept. 2, NY state troopers arrested Jaime A. Sagastume-Villafuerte, 29, of Bethel, CT, for Aggravated DWI. He was traveling on Interstate 84 in the town of Patterson, when he was involved in a motor vehicle collision. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, police alleged.
  • On Sept. 3, NY state troopers arrested Daniel R. Golenbock, 35, of Newtown, CT, for DWI and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 3rd degree, both misdemeanors. He was traveling on State Route 22 in the town of Southeast, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol with a suspended license, police alleged.
